EVS Supervisor
About The Position
Under the direct supervision of the Lead Supervisor, performs a variety of tasks in the coordination/managing of Environmental Services. Responsible for the supervision and accomplishment of the personnel maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Must work closely with all Departments and staff to ensure the patients best interests are top priority. Plans, organizes, supervises, coordinates, and controls the activities of the Environmental Services Department.
Requirements
- 5 experience in environmental services
Nice To Haves
- Associate or Bachelor's
- Previous supervisory experience preferred in a healthcare environment
- CHESP certification
Responsibilities
- Develops, evaluates, and implements departmental policies and procedures, goals and objectives and standards of work.
- Monitors existing programs for compliance with the environmental policies and procedures.
- Identifies potential environmental issues and develops strategies to effectively respond.
- Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality customer service.
