Description Essential Job Functions: · Coordinates EVS supplies · Assigns tasks and projects to ensure cleanliness of the casino. · Maintain assigned areas · Complete all tasks as assigned by supervisor · Clean and sweep paper and debris off the floor · Clean and maintain slot machines and stands · Clean walls, stalls, shelving, telephones, brass rails, doors, glass, mirrors and any surface needing cleaning attention · Clean and maintain cleanliness of restrooms · Clean and refresh ashtrays and ash urns · Restock with supplies (paper products) and chemicals work area (as needed) · Performs proper and trained cleaning procedures when blood borne pathogens are involved · Clean and maintain areas as assigned by Supervisor or Manager · Vacuum as assigned · Remove trash as assigned · Remove or transport items from one area to another as assigned · Mopping floors · Must able to operate vacuum cleaners or floor cleaning equipment (mop, broom etc.) · Meets the attendance guidelines and adheres to departmental and company policies · Works a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays. · Works a reasonable amount of overtime when required. · Perform other duties as assigned. · All team members will follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy. It is the expectation that every team member, front or back of house, should proactively seek out opportunities to greet guests and their fellow team members daily. EGE policy states teams members should: acknowledge guests and fellow team members within 10 feet; initiate friendly verbal greeting within 5 feet; keep your head up, look around (“head on a swivel”); look for opportunities to greet guests and others; please remember that when you are on the floor, you are “on stage”. · Team members will participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions. Responsibilities Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands: · Must be able to lift 50lbs or more · Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues. · Must be able to manage several tasks during shift · Must be able to work around crowded areas · Able to stoop, bend, reach and pull around casino & restroom areas. · Able to tolerate cleaning chemicals without developing an allergic reaction. · Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, twist, lift, stoop, reach when performing duties. · Must be able to work in areas containing secondhand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights. Qualifications Qualifications: · Prior Custodial or Housekeeping experience preferred. · Must be at least 21 years of age · Must present a well-groomed appearance
