About The Position
The Staff Pad has partnered with Unity Medical Center to hire an EVS Housekeeper. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors throughout the facility.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas
- Ensure all assigned areas meet hospital cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Properly dispose of trash, biohazard waste, and linens
- Restock supplies such as paper products, soap, and sanitizing materials
- Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times
- Respond to cleaning requests in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance needs
- Work under limited supervision while following written and verbal instructions
- Promote a positive and professional environment with patients, staff, and visitors
- Comply with all organizational policies, procedures, and safety regulations
