Aspirus Eagle River Hospital in Eagle River, WI is seeking a FLOOR CARE SPECIALIST to join our ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES team! The Floor Care Specialist provides a clean and bacteriologically safe environment for patients, staff and visitors. Must be able to follow all applicable policies, procedures, schedules, sanitation and safety requirements. HOURS: Full-Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks. Requirements

Knowledge of housekeeping standards and practices normally acquired through a demonstrated ability to read, write, and remember/follow verbal or written instructions.
A high school diploma or GED equivalent beneficial.
Previous experience in a housekeeping department beneficial.
Must be able to participate in 10 minutes of general stretching exercises at the beginning of each shift.
Demonstrates proficiency in operating numerous pieces of floor care equipment such as high speed buffer, automatic scrubbing machine, carpet extractor and wet vacs.
Possesses the ability to perform minor equipment repairs and preventative maintenance on floor care equipment.
