About The Position

We're looking for a dependable and motivated Housekeeper/Floor Technician to help maintain a clean, sanitary, and attractive environment throughout the medical center. Your work plays a vital role in patient safety, comfort, and the verall mission of Southwest Medical Center.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks in assigned areas to ensure a sanitary and orderly environment
• Recognize clean vs. dirty areas and apply proper cleaning methods and solutions
• Stay alert and detail-focused to prevent accidents and respond quickly to emergencies
• Complete all assigned duties, floor care, and dismissal cleanings during your shift
• Check empty rooms regularly to ensure they are admit-ready
• Keep training, floor, and wall logs updated and accurate
• Inspect hospital areas on a scheduled basis
• Maintain and organize equipment; empty/replace vacuum bags, clean nozzles, and charge equipment batteries
• Take initiative with additional or unexpected tasks as needed
