About The Position

Under direction/supervision of EVS Supervisor and/or EVS Lead, the EVS Attendant cleans ceilings, walls, floors, windows, slot machines and all related furniture and equipment in and out of the Casino including offices and assigned buildings on property and other associated areas.

Requirements

Must be able to read English in order to ensure that all chemical handling is conducted in compliance with OSHA and MSDS standards.
Must be at least 18 years old.
May be required to possess and maintain a California Driver’s license and a Black Oak Casino driver’s permit.
Must possess skill in using cleaning products and equipment.
Must be able to communicate using 2-way radios and/or cell phones.
Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test.
Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license.
Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
Must be able to communicate proficiently in English.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or G.E.D.
One (1) year of custodial experience, or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education, from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Knowledge of cleaning equipment, products, techniques, and standards.

Responsibilities

Sweeps, mops, polishes, and strips floors.
Dusts and/or polishes furniture, blinds, and equipment.
Cleans restrooms and fills dispensers.
Vacuums, spot cleans, and/or shampoos rugs, carpets, and furniture using commercial type vacuum cleaners and shampooing equipment.
Reports malfunction of bathroom fixtures, light fixtures, and/or damages to room and hall furnishings to Porter Lead/Supervisor.
Makes continuous rounds, as directed, throughout the Casino and associated property to maintain cleanliness appearance standards.
Initiates work orders for repair/maintenance.
Stocks areas with appropriate supplies.
Moves furniture, equipment or fixtures as required.
Washes dishes or utensils as required.
May replace light bulbs.
Identifies and corrects unsafe practices and conditions.
Provides professional, courteous service and is cordial to all Team Members and Guests.
Performs other duties as assigned.
