About The Position

The EVS Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of facilities. This role involves a variety of heavy cleaning duties, including cleaning and shampooing floors, washing walls and glass, and servicing and supplying restrooms. The associate will also be responsible for gathering and emptying trash cans and ashtrays. Adherence to safety procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment is essential to prevent damage and ensure safety. The EVS Associate is expected to notify management of any major repair needs or safety concerns and to request necessary supplies or equipment for cleaning and maintenance tasks. Providing superior customer service to all guests and maintaining consistent, punctual attendance are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Must be able to obtain gaming license.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, vendors, managers, and customers.
Ability to write routine correspondence.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Must maintain professional behavior and possess exceptional customer and employee service skills at all times.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or general educational degree (GED) preferred.
Similar experience and/or knowledge preferred.
Previous casino experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass.
Services, cleans, and supplies restrooms.
Gathers and empties trash cans and ashtrays.
Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
Follows procedures for use of chemical cleaners and power equipment for safety, and to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
Notifies management concerning the need for major repair needs or safety concerns.
Requests supplies or equipment needed for major cleaning and maintenance duties.
Provides superior customer service to all guests.
Maintains consistent and punctual attendance.
Performs other duties assigned by supervisor or administrator.
