About The Position

Provides environmental cleaning services. Responsible to maintain the facility in a sanitary, neat, attractive and safe condition at all times. Responsible to handle multiple needs and priorities as they arise while still maintaining the highest level of customer service.

Requirements

• Ability to read, to follow oral and/or written instructions in English.
• Ability to prioritize work.
• Must have good customer service skills.
• Ability to read, to follow oral and/or written instructions in English.

Nice To Haves

• High school or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sanitizes all surfaces of the facility using a germicidal cleaner, according to manufacturer specifications.
• Collects infectious and non-infectious waste in all areas in appropriate containers.
• Performs discharge cleaning/detail cleaning of all areas.
• Performs dust mop and mopping all tile floors.
• Stocks supplies in areas, carts, and supply room.
• Cleans bathrooms.
• Maintains accurate records including discharges, linen weight, isolation weight, pager sign-out sheets, cart sign-out sheets and Kronos corrections.
• Performs high dusting of ceiling vents and ledges over shoulder height.
• Other related job tasks or responsibilities as assigned.
