About The Position

Events Manager Overview: At Think Hospitality we create exceptional guest experiences through unforgettable events, from weddings and private dining experiences to corporate functions and social celebrations. We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Events Manager to lead the planning and execution of events that elevate our brand and drive revenue. Position Summary The Events Manager is responsible for generating event sales, coordinating event logistics, and delivering seamless on-site execution for all hotel/restaurant events. This role works closely with clients, chefs, banquet teams, and operations staff to ensure each event exceeds expectations while meeting revenue and profitability targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
  • 2–5+ years of experience in hotel, restaurant, or hospitality event management
  • Proven track record in event sales and revenue generation
  • Strong knowledge of food & beverage operations
  • Experience using event management or hotel booking systems
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Strong sales and negotiation abilities
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Leadership and team coordination
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Event Sales & Client Relations Respond to inquiries and convert leads into confirmed bookings
  • Conduct site visits and client consultations
  • Prepare customized proposals, menus, and event packages
  • Negotiate contracts and manage deposits/payments
  • Build strong relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners, and repeat customers
  • Event Planning & Coordination Plan and coordinate weddings, private dining events, corporate meetings, and social functions
  • Develop event timelines, floor plans, and banquet event orders (BEOs)
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams on menu planning and tastings
  • Coordinate décor, entertainment, AV, rentals, and external vendors
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
  • Event Execution Oversee on-site event setup and breakdown
  • Act as the primary point of contact during events
  • Manage service standards and guest satisfaction
  • Troubleshoot issues quickly and professionally
  • Ensure events run on schedule and within budget
  • Administrative & Financial Maintain accurate records in event management systems
  • Track event revenue and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets
  • Monitor budgets and control costs
  • Conduct post-event follow-ups and gather client feedback
