About The Position

PURPLE New York are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Events PR Intern to join our events team, working across a portfolio of luxury brands. You should be a dedicated, multi-tasked, and proactive candidate who is enthusiastic about the fields of hospitality, art, and design and has an interest in a public relations career.

Requirements

• Must be New York based
• Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Canva.
• Must be up to date on cultural trends in fashion, lifestyle, and beauty industries.
• You must be able to work in office a minimum of 15 hours per week.
• Please note, this internship is on site with no remote work opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with guest list curation and RSVP management.
• Support event recaps, as well as the creation of event documents such as face sheets, shot lists, and event briefings.
• Assist in ongoing vendor and venue documents.
• Maintain cultural calendars.
• Support occasional messenger services for projects
• Work alongside the team for events.
