About The Position

The Events Coordinator helps create an engaging, high-energy entertainment experience for our members by supporting the execution of our unique Jubilation brand. This role partners closely with the Director of Entertainment to assist with day-to-day operations, event coordination, and administrative support. The position requires schedule flexibility, including evenings and weekends, based on community needs.

Requirements

  • Experience in event coordination, administrative support, or a related role
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to take initiative and manage multiple tasks
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and proactive with the ability to think ahead

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Canva and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content creation
  • Basic filming and video editing skills (YouTube content, iMovie experience a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of daily and monthly entertainment and event calendars
  • Support the Director of Entertainment with daily operations and evening programs
  • Create, manage, and deploy digital content displayed throughout the community
  • Serve as a confident and engaging presence during events, including speaking in front of groups and using a microphone as needed
  • Assist with event setup and breakdown, including light lifting and moving furniture before and after events
  • Embrace and promote a strong hospitality-focused culture
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, coworkers, and contractors
  • Maintain personal work areas and shared spaces in a clean, organized, and presentable manner
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
