About The Position

The Events Coordinator at STATION NWA is a hands-on operator responsible for planning, executing, and continuously improving events that bring together founders, partners, and the broader Northwest Arkansas innovation community. Working under the direction of the STATION NWA Executive Director, you’ll be part of a small team responsible for executing events, building community, and supporting innovators across the region. This role requires strong execution skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving, startup-style nonprofit environment. You’ll own logistics from planning through execution, collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, and help ensure STATION NWA events are professional, well-attended, and deliver clear value to participants and partners.

Requirements

  • You have a passion for event management.
  • You are outgoing and can talk to just about anyone.
  • You are a documentor. You make lists and spreadsheets.
  • You are a problem solver. You look for ways to make things work better and how to turn chaos into systems.
  • You are organized and plan ahead, but you don’t get stressed out when things change at the last minute… because they will. You roll with it.
  • You check your email in the evenings and are available to work during evening events and over the weekends when there is a tight deadline. You do what it takes to get the job done.
  • You have a reliable laptop computer & smartphone that you are comfortable using for work.
  • You plan to stay in Texas for at least two years.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute STATION NWA events from concept through completion, including timelines, budgets, run-of-show documents, and post-event follow-up
  • Track and manage event deliverables to ensure milestones are met on time and within budget
  • Communicate regularly with internal teammates and external partners to keep all stakeholders aligned and informed
  • Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation including checklists, timelines, and shared project materials
  • Support onsite event execution, including setup, registration, speaker support, and breakdown
  • Gather and organize post-event metrics, feedback, and learnings to improve future programming
  • Support broader community-building and program efforts as part of a small, highly collaborative team

Benefits

  • $65,000 annual salary
