About The Position

The Events & Community Relations Manager plays a key role in driving brand visibility, engagement, and community impact through exceptional event execution and outreach initiatives. This position oversees the planning, coordination, and financial management of all Pinkbox Doughnuts events — including the Doughnut Truck, Allegiant Kiosk, and Community Table — while also supporting Siegel Cares programs that connect residents and local communities with essential resources and opportunities. This role combines creativity, operational precision, and relationship-building to strengthen the company’s presence both in the marketplace and in the community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in event management, community relations, or hospitality operations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, logistics, and cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for community engagement and brand advocacy.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the execution of all Pinkbox events, including Community Table, Allegiant Kiosk, and Doughnut Truck activations.
  • Coordinate logistics, staff assignments, setup, and breakdown for all events.
  • Generate sales through repeat business, community partnerships, and new event opportunities.
  • Oversee customer communication for custom, VIP, wholesale, and comped orders.
  • Prepare and submit BEOs, invoices, and post-event financial reconciliations.
  • Track event expenditures, manage inventory, and order necessary supplies.
  • Analyze event performance (attendance, sales, ROI) and provide post-event reports to leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with permits, safety standards, and company branding guidelines.
  • Support Siegel Cares community outreach programs and resident engagement initiatives across multiple properties and regions.
  • Coordinate volunteer events, donation drives, appreciation days, and charitable partnerships.
  • Manage communications for local resources (food, employment, veterans, seniors, after-school programs, etc.) to ensure residents have access to support services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with nonprofits, community leaders, and resource organizations.
  • Travel to out-of-state properties to host community and resource events as needed.
  • Collaborate with property management and operations teams to deliver meaningful resident-focused activities.
  • Manage Siegel Cares resource room activities and community event coordination.
  • Assist in developing annual community engagement strategies and measuring program outcomes.
  • Maintain organized records of customer interactions, sales leads, and community partnerships.
  • Prepare summaries and reports on event and outreach performance for leadership review.
  • Identify and evaluate new event and partnership opportunities that align with the company’s mission and brand values.
  • Represent the company with professionalism and enthusiasm at all community and public events.
