About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Events and Sales Assistant to join our vibrant team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for supporting our events and sales functions, ensuring that every aspect of our events runs smoothly and exceeds expectations. As the Events and Sales Assistant, you will work alongside the events team to coordinate logistics, communicate with vendors, and assist in the development of marketing materials to promote our offerings

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in event planning and sales support, preferably in a professional setting.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and event management software.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for events.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing a variety of events, including corporate meetings, trade shows, and social gatherings.
  • Coordinate logistics for events such as venue selection, catering, audiovisual needs, and transportation.
  • Communicate with vendors and negotiate contracts to secure services for events.
  • Develop and distribute marketing materials to promote events and drive participation.
  • Gather client and stakeholder feedback to enhance event experiences and address any concerns.
  • Support the sales team by tracking leads, preparing presentations, and maintaining CRM systems.
