About The Position

- The Events and Campus Manager at Goodwill Industries of Central Florida Inc is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events to support the organization's mission and goals. This role involves managing all aspects of event logistics, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring successful event delivery. Additionally, the manager oversees campus activities and operations to create a vibrant and engaging environment for all stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in event planning and management.
  • Proven track record of managing campus recruitment events or similar programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and financial aspects of events.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.

  • Experience working in a non-profit organization is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for events and campus activities that align with organizational objectives.
  • Coordinate and manage all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, vendor management, and budget oversight.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote events and increase participation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, sponsors, and vendors to enhance event quality and reach.
  • Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate the success of events through feedback and data analysis to inform future planning and improvements.
  • Manage campus operations, ensuring facilities are well-maintained and conducive to a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors.
  • Lead and mentor a team of event staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance event and campus management strategies.
