About The Position

The Salesforce Event Technology team is constantly transforming the company’s portfolio of customer-facing events: from free one-day World Tours to multi-day paid events such as Tableau Conference, and Dreamforce. How? As one unified team, we bring technologists, product managers, program managers, insights analysts, and a team focused on event operations to plan, build/configure, deploy, and measure technology that powers the event experience - whether it’s in-person or broadcast on Salesforce+. The Event Technology Operations team works hand-in-hand with Salesforce event teams and Event Technology product managers to pilot and deploy the latest event tech innovations. And then scale those innovations so they can be used at as many events as needed. As the Sr. Manager, Event Technology Solutions, you will lead the deployment, configuration and continuous improvement of event technology solutions across Salesforce’s Strategic Events and global field marketing programs. You will ensure that the right technology is scoped, configured and delivered to support exceptional attendee and stakeholder experiences. You will partner closely with Event Technology Product Managers, Strategic Events leads, vendor partners and cross-functional teams to bring solutions from pilot to scale. You will own solution templates, testing plans, deployment processes and issue triage for your assigned technologies and ensure they work reliably across in-person, hybrid and virtual events. Areas of potential tech platform focus may include (but, because we keep innovating, isn’t limited to): AI agents. AI-generated summaries. Employee event staffing. Meeting programs (e.g., 1-on-1 expert meetings). Mobile app experience. Peer-to-peer attendee networking. Sales team experience.
