About The Position

JOB OVERVIEW Event Support Staff provide general manual labor, guest support and other ancillary services to assist the Alliance Events staff produce and run successful events in venues throughout Prospect Park.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience working in a customer facing role or assisting in the coordination and set-up of performances, events, conferences larger meetings.
  • A passion for and commitment to the Alliance mission, sustaining the environment and the values of diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing superior customer service
  • Highly interpersonal with an approachable and positive customer facing demeanor
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work quickly and retain focus in a busy work environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in speaking and writing
  • Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance before and after every event, including but not limited to cleaning bathrooms, mopping, and washing windows as assigned.
  • Assist guests with getting to and from the Litchfield Villa parking lot as assigned.
  • Greet guests as they enter or exit buildings and assist guests with general inquiries as assigned.
  • Operate and maintain basic A/V equipment required to support events.
  • Ensure visitor and caterer adherence to Picnic House Rules.
  • Performs other job-related duties and functions as assigned
