We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant campus community. The Event Support Specialist will assist and support the Conference and Events Department with hosting high quality events. The Event Support Specialist assist with all internal and external events and act as an extra point of contact during all stages of the event process for organizations, groups, and individuals using the College’s facilities to host their activities and events. The Event Support Specialist will be under the supervision of the Events Coordinator and will aid in managing conference reservations, including setup needs, room reservations, and data input utilizing 25Live. Requirements

  • A standard high school or equivalency diploma.
  • Three (3) years of experience in Event Management, Customer Service, or Hospitality.
  • An Associate’s degree or higher degree may substitute for two years of the required experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and support the Conference and Events Department with hosting high quality events.
  • Assist with all internal and external events.
  • Act as an extra point of contact during all stages of the event process for organizations, groups, and individuals using the College’s facilities to host their activities and events.
  • Aid in managing conference reservations, including setup needs, room reservations, and data input utilizing 25Live.
