About The Position

Candidate is responsible for the implementation of all event setups; including furniture, and/or equipment necessary for corporate meetings, dinners, social gatherings, and weddings. Must have strong attention to detail in the quality of output required for setups.

Requirements

Ability to lift 50+ lbs
Must be available weekends, weeknights, and holidays
Overtime is required at times

Responsibilities

Set up for meeting and banquet needs (tables, chairs, linens, etc.)
Understanding of Event Orders and diagrams and what is required for the event with little direction
Report and follow up on all maintenance issues in meeting rooms and surrounding areas
Reset meeting spaces to the original set up after each event
Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of public spaces and meeting rooms
Keep storage areas tidy and well organized
Report any damaged event items
Keep a professional attitude and demeanor during all guest interactions
Problem solve last minute requests and changes
