About The Position

Eugene T. Mahoney State Park is currently seeking a hard-working and independent individual to fill our Event Set Up position. You will be working overnight to clean event spaces and set up for upcoming events in the park. Flexibility is required as the schedule will vary based on event dates. Most weekends will be required during our peak season. Working hours are 10pm – 6am.

Requirements

• At least six months experience working in a recreational area, scenic attraction, hospitality, historical, retail or customer service setting, agricultural setting, or related coursework/training.

Responsibilities

• Clean event spaces including bathrooms and kitchen area.
• Use equipment such as a floor scrubber and vacuum.
• Move tables and chairs to set up for events.
• Follow diagrams showing detailed event details for set up.
• Move and place divider walls in event spaces.
• Manage time independently to make sure that all work is done in a timely manner.
• Show great attention to detail in making sure event space is clean and set to high standards.
