ROLE SUMMARY: The Event Services Manager is responsible for coordinating and executing all aspects of assigned social events and day meetings. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing food and beverage requirements, meeting space utilization, audiovisual needs, guest room requirements (when applicable), rooming lists, group transportation, arrival and departure logistics, connectivity needs, storage and delivery coordination, entertainment arrangements, and overall event execution. This role ensures every detail is delivered to brand standards while creating an exceptional client and guest experience.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hotel, catering, or event venue experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with event software (Social Table or similar.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, plan, and execute assigned social events and day meetings, including light negotiation, event detailing, and conflict resolution as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive, solutions-focused atmosphere for all clients and guests.
  • Drive incremental revenue through strategic upselling of food and beverage offerings, event enhancements, and services beyond contracted minimums.
  • Prepare Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), event resumes, floorplans.
  • Convey final details to Lead Event Specialist for proper final payments, vendor COI, load in and load out.
  • Communicate all event specifications, historical data, and key details to internal departments to ensure seamless execution.
  • Ensure accurate and timely event actualization within 72 hours of program completion.
  • Provide on-site event oversight for assigned social events and day meetings and support team members during peak activity.
  • Conduct and lead planning meetings, tastings, and pre-event meetings as needed.
  • Promote the optimal and efficient use of all event and function spaces to support revenue goals and drive guest experience.
  • Maximize revenue opportunities by promoting upgrades, enhancements, and available hotel services relevant to social events and day meetings.
  • Prepare external communications such as addendums, updates, and client-facing event documents.
  • All other duties as assigned.
