In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our private events banquets, weddings, galas, and member functions ensuring each occasion runs seamlessly and every guest feels special. Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age (must meet legal age requirements for alcohol service in Florida).
  • 3–6 months of customer service or hospitality experience (training is available for the right candidates).
  • Ability to obtain ANSI Florida Food Handler and Responsible Vendor Server Training certifications within 90 days of hire.
  • A polished, professional appearance and strong communication skills.
  • A flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of banquet or event serving experience in a fine dining, country club, or hospitality setting.
  • Familiarity with formal service styles and banquet event procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and break down event spaces with precision and attention to detail.
  • Serve food and beverages during private events with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Greet and interact with members and guests in a warm, welcoming manner.
  • Ensure tables are properly cleared, reset, and maintained throughout events.
  • Execute formal banquet-style service including passed hors d’oeuvres and plated meals.
  • Maintain a high level of awareness regarding timing and flow of service during events.
  • Handle special requests or dietary needs with discretion and accuracy.
  • Operate POS systems when needed and follow proper billing protocols.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in both front and back-of-house areas.
  • Collaborate closely with event leads, culinary staff, and fellow servers to ensure smooth execution.
  • Participate in setup rehearsals, staff meetings, or walkthroughs when required.
