The Event Sales & Planning Manager's primary focus is selling and servicing Event Sales bookings, including but not limited to wedding events, vow renewals, and local social and business events. This position acts as the liaison between wedding couples, event planners, and hotel staff. Responsibilities include sales negotiation, administering sales agreements, full wedding coordination, detailing all food, beverage, vendor, and A/V needs, as well as managing room blocks and pick-up, billing instructions, and final bill review. The Event Sales & Planning Manager is also the on-site contact and is responsible for the smooth execution of all events.
