Your Role: Building Relationships, Creating Experiences As the Event & Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving event sales revenue through proactive business development, guest relationship management, and strategic sales initiatives. This role combines high-level sales accountability with operational event execution, ensuring both revenue generation and exceptional guest satisfaction. The Events and Sales Manager leads all aspects of the sales cycle-from prospecting and proposal development to contract negotiation and closing-while coordinating seamless execution of all banquet functions. This position requires mastery of event management systems, data-driven sales strategies, and collaborative marketing efforts to promote the restaurant and generate sustained business growth. Enforce company standards, policies and procedures with restaurant/bar staff. Motivate banquet staff and maintain a cohesive team. Ensure security and confidentiality of guest information. Requirements

  • Have a natural gift for connecting with people and understanding what makes their event meaningful
  • Bring experience in restaurant operations, food and beverage planning, and event coordination
  • Excel at communication-you're as comfortable presenting to corporate clients as you are collaborating with kitchen staff
  • Have an eye for detail and a talent for juggling multiple priorities with grace under pressure
  • Understand hospitality platforms (Tripleseat, Toast, OpenTable) and can navigate both the big picture and fine details
  • Are experienced with corporate events, weddings, and social celebrations
  • Satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding in person and by telephone.
  • Provide legible communication and professional written correspondence.
  • Demonstrate strong sales acumen and persuasive communication skills.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with diverse guest
  • Utilize advanced computer skills including CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Compute mathematical calculations including pricing, percentages, and revenue projections.
  • Remain calm under pressure, making sound and logical decisions quickly.
  • Possess knowledge of food and beverage production and service and have the ability to perform all positions in event operations in order to supervise and direct all event personnel.
  • Be a clear thinker, analyze and resolve problems, exercising good judgment.
  • Analyze sales data and metrics to inform strategic decisions.
  • Focus attention on details while maintaining big-picture sales objectives.
  • Present warm, friendly and welcoming personality to guests and guests.
  • Work independently to manage sales pipeline and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • High school graduate.
  • Minimum 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Two years' experience in food and beverage operations, server, dining room manager or host role.
