Come be part of our Events Team as the Event Sales Manager at the Hyatt Regency DFW located across from Terminal C of the DFW Airport. The Hyatt Regency DFW features 811 guestrooms and 92,000 square feet of function space. This will be an on-property role and is a part of the Global Hyatt Hotels Managed portfolio. The Event Sales Manager is responsible for selling Banquet Food, Beverage & Meeting Room Rentals as well as menu planning, agenda setting and hotel meeting services. Duties also include business development, contract review and facilitatingmunication before, during and post event with pertinent hotel staff to ensure a high level of service. The Event Sales Manager also host hotel tours, maintain strong customer relationships, participate and may lead event meetings and other staff meetings, and work as a team member with the sales and events staff. The manager also works closely with an assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff. At Hyatt, t's a home for every stage of your career. Requirements

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Refined verbal and writtenmunication skills
  • Must be proficient in generalputer knowledge
  • Candidates should be extremely detail oriented andanized
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer two years hotel experience orpleted Event Management trainee program
