At your fingertips, you will have 20 customizable event venues offering over 39,000 square feet of event space. The Event Sales Manager is responsible for selling and servicing events, which may include, but not limited to Corporate Events, Association Events, Galas, Holiday Parties and Weddings. Primary sales efforts are in Banquet Food and Beverage and includes menu planning, agenda setting and hotel meeting services. Must be effective at selling, both proactively and reactively, the services of the hotel to gain commitment from the client and work well with all departments in the hotel to ensure that services are delivered as communicated to the client. Responsibilities also include contract review and facilitating communication before, during and post-event with pertinent hotel staff to include obtaining and detailing all food, beverage, set-up and A/V needs, managing room blocks and pick up, billing instructions and final review to ensure a high level of service. The Event Sales Manager is the on-site contact and is responsible for the smooth execution of groups and events. High quality of selling, planning, implementation, and executing is required. The Event Sales Manager is a leader in the department, participating in and supporting initiatives within the Sales and Event team. The manager also works closely with an assigned Coordinator and other support staff.
