As an Event Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating projects and events within a growing portfolio of event venues. You will form relationships with vendors, clients, and partners to manage successful events from start to finish while providing a world-class experience. About the role Market, sell, and coordinate projects and events in event venues Execute day-to-day operations of an event by overseeing all setup, breakdown and other activities to ensure a smooth event flow Coordinate and assist clients from initial inquiry through event execution, including showcasing venues, creating venue proposals, building event floor plans, detailing event resumes and soliciting client feedback Reconcile all event costs through the generation of invoices, payment schedules and contracts Offer vendor recommendations to clients and ensure vendors adhere to venue guidelines Collect certificates of insurance from all clients and vendors Sell beverage packages and maintain a comprehensive understanding of beverage policies Coordinate with audio-visual, security, parking, facilities and other teams to ensure that all preparations are made for an event Coordinate the onboarding, selling and marketing of new event venues Manage marketing materials, including social media accounts and website content Keep up with industry trends and attend educational networking sessions Complete annual compliance trainings to maintain adherence to safety guidelines
