About The Position

We are seeking a passionate and community-driven Event & Promotions Assistant to support our nonprofit clients through local fundraising events, community outreach initiatives, and promotional campaigns. In this role, you will work closely with Event Coordinators to increase awareness, engagement, and support for meaningful causes.
Our mission is to create impactful, memorable experiences that inspire community involvement and donor participation. As an Event & Promotions Assistant, you will serve as a brand ambassador for charitable organizations, helping connect the public with important causes through positive and professional interactions.

Requirements

• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Passion for nonprofit work, community outreach, or charitable causes
• Experience in events, fundraising, promotions, or public-facing roles is a plus
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills
• Professional, positive, and enthusiastic demeanor
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends for events
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, people-focused environment

Responsibilities

• Act as the face and voice of the nonprofit organization at community events and fundraising campaigns
• Engage with the public to promote charitable missions, programs, and initiatives
• Clearly communicate campaign goals and answer questions about the organization's impact
• Assist with donor sign-ups, registrations, and contribution processing
• Distribute informational materials, merchandise, and promotional items
• Deliver engaging presentations or cause-based demonstrations to encourage support
• Provide accurate information on donation options, fundraising goals, and program details
• Track and report event performance metrics, including donor engagement, attendance, and feedback
• Gather insights on common questions and challenges to improve future outreach efforts
