The Event Planner designs and delivers purposeful gatherings that unite people to connect and celebrate the impact of Bill Daniels and the Daniels Fund. From the earliest spark of an idea to the final farewell, this position approaches every event with care and intentionality, ensuring that each detail reflects a greater purpose. Entrusted with creating experiences that embody Bill’s values, hospitality, and commitment to excellence, the Event Planner will help inspire others to carry forward the Daniels Fund’s enduring legacy of generosity.

Responsibilities

Support the coordination and execution of all event elements, from concept development and budgeting to logistics management and post-event evaluation.
Work with leadership, internal teams, and other stakeholders to define event objectives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Manage on-site event operations, including setup, coordination, and troubleshooting.
Conduct post-event evaluations to measure success and identify opportunities for improvement.
Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, venues, and service providers.
Develop detailed event timelines, floor plans, and schedules to ensure seamless execution.
Manage event budgets, track expenses, and provide regular financial updates to leadership.
Manage event invitation lists and RSVPs.
Manage event invitations and promotional materials.
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and legal regulations for all events.
Stay abreast of event industry trends, technologies, and best practices to bring fresh and innovative ideas.
Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
