About The Position

Impact XM is seeking an Event Manager to lead the planning and delivery of high-profile meetings, events, and brand experiences across the U.S. and globally. This role is responsible for end-to-end event ownership, supporting a range of programs including conferences, corporate meetings, training programs, product launches, experiential activations, and branded events. From strategic planning and creative development through on-site execution and post-event evaluation, the Event Manager ensures programs are delivered seamlessly and aligned with client objectives. As a key member of our Meetings & Events team, the Event Manager will collaborate closely with internal account, creative, strategy, and production teams to ensure events are executed to the highest standard and deliver meaningful brand engagement. This individual will manage multiple programs simultaneously, oversee vendors and suppliers, control budgets, and represent Impact XM and our clients with professionalism.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing meetings, conferences, or complex event programs, preferably within an agency or client services environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading projects from brief through execution while managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills with the ability to manage expectations, solve problems, and drive decisions.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, vendors, and competing timelines in fast-paced environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience delivering large-scale events, experiential activations, or corporate meeting programs.
  • Experience working in an agency environment or supporting multiple clients simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with industries such as technology, automotive, B2B, or corporate events.
  • Knowledge of current trends in experiential marketing, attendee engagement, and event technology solutions.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CMP) are advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle of meetings and events, including live, hybrid, and experiential programs such as conferences, training events, brand activations, and corporate gatherings.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to translate client objectives into engaging event experiences that support brand engagement and audience connection.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and production schedules; negotiate with suppliers, venues, and service providers to ensure value and quality.
  • Oversee event logistics including registration management, travel and accommodation coordination, venue management, shipping/receiving, and on-site operations.
  • Serve as the primary event lead on site, ensuring seamless delivery, strong client partnership, and exceptional attendee experience.
  • Track and measure program outcomes and performance metrics to support continuous improvement and account growth opportunities.
  • Mentor junior team members and collaborate with agency partners, production teams, and freelance staff as required.
