About The Position

The Events Coordinator works directly with the Event Manager to plan, organize and execute both casino, retail events and promotions. Responsibilities include collaborating directly with internal departments, as well as external vendors and agencies to ensure all events are successfully executed.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate and work all Special Events, Promotions and other event required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
  • Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure all promotions and events are communicated property wide. Including but not limited to, MOD updates, individual department updates, BEO updates and department meeting agendas.
  • Maintain and build relationships with internal and external departments/agencies/vendors.
  • Conceptualizing the development for special events and promotions, including but not limited to vision boards creation and dissemination, providing feedback and clarification and ordering supplies (for décor, gifts, etc.).
  • Ensure all special event and promotional rules are written and properly submitted by the due date determined by the department.
  • Assist with gift sourcing and purchasing.
  • Manage marketing inventory on arrival, post event and on-going for storage needs.
  • Secure accommodation and transportation for vendors, entertainment, or anyone else as directed.
  • Assist with other department events such as entertainment, promotions, etc.
  • Assists in securing invoices as needed post event
