About The Position

With an Event Coordination Internship with 313 Presents, candidates will have a hands-on learning experience working behind the scenes of the entertainment industry. A summer season with 313 Presents includes working with other departments within the organization to give the full picture of what goes into making a successful event.

Requirements

  • Open Availability - hours will vary each week based on the concert and event schedule
  • Must be able to commit to the full summer concert season (mid-May through end of August or September)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Must be highly organized, able to exercise professionalism and good judgement
  • Applicants must be enrolled in college courses or recent graduate to be considered
  • Must be willing to work extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Applicants must have a reliable personal vehicle to get to all 313 Presents venues
  • Job may require spending an extended period outdoors in various conditions, lifting and transporting items up to 50 lbs. and multiple hours on your feet
  • Must be flexible and willing to take on different responsibilities on a show by show basis

Responsibilities

  • Work with Event Production team on pre-concert advance and assist with back of house logistics day of show
  • Manage VIP packages/meet & greets for artists when needed
  • Additional preparation for events/concerts including contacting, finding and organizing vendors
  • Experience other departments including Front of House Operations, Sponsorship & Premium Sales
