About The Position

Event Center Custodial Staff are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of event venues and grounds before, during and after entertainment, sporting, and other events. In addition, they will assist Event Center staff with setting up of banquet halls and rooms with chairs, tables, linens, staging and lighting.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a UA and Background Check
• Must have valid ID.
• Flexible around working days and hours, including weekends and occasional nights.

Nice To Haves

• At least 6 months of janitorial experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• Knowledge of basic cleaning products
• Follow directions and able to adapt to change

Responsibilities

• All toilets and bathrooms upheld to highest cleaning standards
• Dispose of all waste in line with recycling policy
• Event Center to be cleaned by picking up bulk trash, liquids, protein spills, sweeping and mopping before, during and after events
• Check external areas and parking lots for trash and remove as needed.
• Wipes and cleans tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas
• Maintain professionalism with spectators, audience members and other event attendees.
• Assist with setting up and/or tearing down tables/chairs/bleachers/floors for conversion
