About The Position
Spearhead Hospitality, LLC is seeking a friendly, self-motivated, and hardworking individual for the position of Event & Catering Sales Coordinator. This role is integral to the operations of Canal St. Eatery & Market Chicago, which encompasses a full-service restaurant, a grab-and-go market, and a cocktail lounge, all located within the 320 S Canal Building in the vibrant West Loop Gate area. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to expand their sales and catering expertise in a fast-paced, professional business setting. The position involves coordinating a variety of events, from casual happy hours to formal catering for large meetings, ensuring that all client needs are met with enthusiasm and professionalism. As an Event & Catering Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing leads and catering orders from initial inquiry through to delivery. This includes capturing client information, communicating event details, negotiating room rentals, and curating catering invoices based on client requirements. You will also be expected to identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive sales efforts, networking, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. The role requires a thorough understanding of event operations and the ability to manage all aspects of event execution as the onsite contact. Additionally, you will be responsible for communicating catering and event details to the internal team on a regular basis, ensuring that everyone is aligned and prepared for upcoming events.
