About The Position

The Event Bartender position is a critical role in ensuring our events are successful. The ideal candidate is someone who wants to contribute to creating a positive, fun and exciting work experience. Prior bartending experience and cocktail knowledge is required. Availability must include nights and weekends, with occasional holidays.

Requirements

Must be TIPS certified or able to obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment
Prior bartending experience and cocktail knowledge required
Required to have wine tool for every shift
Timeliness and flexible schedule, to include nights, weekend and occasional holidays
Ability to follow Patrick Properties standards, policies and procedures
Ability to be a clear thinker, analyze and resolve problems while working as a team
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
Ability to be on feet for extended periods of time
Exert physical effort in transporting and placement of alcohol, coolers, glass racks, etc.
Must possess mature, professional demeanor to interact with vendors and team
Ability to work without direct supervision and follow through to completion of assigned tasks

Responsibilities

Proper uniform and appearance standards – don’t forget your smile and great attitude
Properly set up and breakdown bars with product, equipment, glassware, etc.
Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests
Responsible for safely serving beverages and monitoring all alcohol consumption, discontinuing service to any guest who may be intoxicated with the assistance of the Head Bartender and Event Manager
Responsible for checking guests’ I.D.’s to ensure guests are of legal drinking age
Knowledge of PPHG beverage menus
Knowledge and understanding of PPHG venues
Accurately sign in and out with Banquet Captain and/or Manager
