About The Position

We're seeking enthusiastic and dedicated event professionals to join our team. As an integral part of our events, you will play a key role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all customers. This position requires a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision. The event assistant should be outgoing and self-driven; they must know how to have fun and be comfortable engaging clients and vendors in group and one-on-one settings while completing the following tasks:

Requirements

• Bubbly - you have a fun and welcoming personality (we're in the hospitality industry after all!)
• A go-getter with a passion for providing stellar customer service
• Great at prioritizing. Time management skills are a plus!
• Good at communicating effectively, both verbally + written
• Quick on your feet – you thrive in a fast-paced environment and can make quick, informed decisions
• Tech-savvy (nothing crazy, we promise!) They have computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Applications
• Flexible - evening + weekend availability is a MUST
• Willing to work in a team environment - introverts, this applies to you too!

Responsibilities

• Assisting with weddings & events at locations throughout Central Florida
• Providing exceptional customer service and developing positive working relationships with all event partners
• Working closely with our clients & catering partners to ensure all details are communicated and executed properly
• Supporting the sales and event management teams with various tasks as needed, including timelines, floor plans, and venue showcases
• Keeping track of event supplies, linen, and equipment
• Being prepared to stay late or work early morning hours during events to guarantee smooth operations from start to finish
• Performing other related duties incidental to the work described herein
