About The Position

Schedule & Compensation Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM (4‑hour evening shift) Competitive Wages Weekly Attendance Bonus available for employees who work all scheduled shifts on time Essential Duties & Responsibilities Sew fabric and leather cushions and flat‑work pieces according to production specifications. Operate an electric sewing machine, guiding materials accurately through the needle. Follow all established sewing standards, including: Maintaining consistent ½" seams Producing straight, uniform stitches Ensuring no skipped stitches Verifying all pieces meet required specifications Inspecting materials for holes, flaws, or defects Measuring welt using a ruler for correct length Read and understand production tickets and basic sewing instructions. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager. Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years’ sewing experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and use a ruler accurately. Ability to thread and operate industrial sewing machines. Strong attention to detail and a quality‑focused mindset. Strong English communication skills (reading, comprehension, speaking, writing). Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to sit for up to 4 hours. Dependable, positive, and team‑oriented attitude. Safety Requirements Follow all workplace safety rules and company procedures. Required PPE: Safety glasses. Working Conditions Indoor, ventilated furniture manufacturing environment. Concrete floors. Heated and cooled workspace. Employment Details This is a temporary, short‑duration position created to support production backlog. Employment is at‑will and will end when the project is complete. No benefits are offered for this role. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
