Part-Time Evening Field Support Lead – Trash & Recycling Valet – Mid-Valley Salt Lake County
About The Position
WSI Trash & Recycling Valet is seeking an Evening Field Support Lead for Mid-Salt Lake Valley. This role offers a consistent evening schedule with leadership responsibility, supporting nightly trash and recycling valet routes across apartment communities. WSI, founded in Utah in 2010, is a family-owned, majority women-operated company and a recognized industry pioneer in valet trash and recycling services, serving apartment communities across Utah, Nevada, and Idaho. Requirements
- Applicants must be 18 or older
- Valid Utah driver's license
- Current auto insurance
- Smartphone with an active data plan and location services enabled
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
- Availability Monday through Friday evenings
- Willingness to travel throughout Northern Salt Lake Valley, Weber County, and Cache County
- Reliable, professional, and self-motivated

Responsibilities
- Support nightly trash and recycling valet routes across apartment communities each evening
- Monitor routes and provide on-site support to Valet Porters
- Step in to perform collection duties when coverage is needed
- Collect bagged trash, recycling, and cardboard from residents' doors
- Transport materials to onsite dumpsters, chutes, or compactors
- Inspect recycling for contamination, ensure proper separation
- Check in/out while documenting your route using a mobile app
- Issue courtesy compliance notices
- Upload required photos
- Clean up loose trash near dumpsters and compactor areas
- Assist with training new team members
- Complete quality audits
- Occasionally service pet waste stations
