About The Position

As an End User Computing Team Lead, you will provide direct management and guidance to a team of individual contributors. Your role centers on fostering a collaborative and innovative environment, supporting your team’s growth, and driving strategic initiatives that enhance the end-user experience. This position is ideal for someone passionate about technology, leadership, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience demonstrating strong leadership skills, including the development and mentorship of employees
  • Minimum 5 years in a technical contributor role in Information Technology, preferably End User Computing
  • Familiarity with enterprise mobility management (EMM) systems such as Microsoft Intune or Workspace One.
  • Familiarity with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure such as Azure Virtual Desktop or Horizon
  • Ability to drive strategy and vision, holding the team accountable for accomplishing goals and progressing on the team’s vision.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) for both a technical and non-technical audience
  • A passion for working with end-users and stakeholders to gather needs and requirements and planning to put solutions in place to increase productivity and user delight.
  • Proven problem-solving, change management, and technical planning skills
  • A passion for learning new skills and new technology
  • Ability to manage a project from beginning to end.

Responsibilities

  • Create and foster an atmosphere of mentoring, quality, diversity, collaboration, and improvement by actively coaching your team members
  • Grow and develop members of your team: understand their goals and work with them to achieve them, hold regular and effective one-on-ones, conduct annual performance reviews, provide real-time coaching, engage in difficult conversations as needed, recognize, and reward the right behaviors
  • Act as an escalation point and remove impediments from the team to help them be as effective as possible. This includes production-impacting issues, both during and after business hours.
  • Lead the team through strategic roadmap efforts, holding them accountable to timelines, scope, and deliverables
  • Develop strategic roadmaps in line with stakeholder needs and end user computing best practices
  • Manages relationships with vendors.
  • Provides functional and technical leadership while promoting best practices
  • Represent WWT in occasional customer engagements, advising customers on best practices and WWT processes, and vision.
