About The Position

As an EUC Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the management of all desktop and laptop systems, cloud based mobile management, including standard image creation and maintenance (physical and virtual), distribution of applications, virus and patch management, and participation in software evaluation and testing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of progressively responsible experience as an EUC Engineer or related role
  • Position requires in-office 3-5 days a week; occasional travel to other Consilio locations
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows Server (2016-2025), Windows 10/11 and Mac OS
  • Advanced knowledge of AD, DNS and Group Policy - preferred.
  • Experience with workstation management system and desktop imaging
  • Knowledge of Office 365 and Exchange
  • Experience in laptop/desktop imaging technologies

Nice To Haves

  • MCSE certification or equivalent work experience – preferred
  • ITIL V3 certification – preferred
  • Experience with MDM solutions – preferred
  • Experience in a VDI setting – preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provision and maintain end user hardware (laptops/desktops/workstation/mobile devices) using Intune MDM and local device cloning/provisioning tools
  • Package, deploy and maintain third party applications on end user hardware using Intune MDM
  • Troubleshoot/resolve issues in a timely manner on end user devices (laptops, desktops, mobile phones, etc.)
  • Manage users, groups and devices with on-premises Active Directory and Entra ID including Group Policy Management
  • Participate in maintenance and configuration of VDI platforms such as Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop and Omnissa Horizon
  • Monitor and respond to electronic tickets and phone calls from internal and external clients for both trouble and task-oriented issues, and provide clearly written documentation regarding the problem, task, and resolution.
  • Uphold security standards and posture via MS Defender policies, Rapid7 Security scanning, responding to alerts and requests from Information Security
  • Other IT related tasks may include installation and maintenance of routers and switches, AV equipment, printers, security systems and proximity key card systems as well as maintaining a clean and orderly local IT storage area.
  • Administrative tasks include attending meetings both locally and via teleconference, meeting with local vendors and technicians, maintaining asset tracking software with up-to-date data.
  • Create and collaborate on documentation pertaining to projects, tasks and other business needs
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment; perform follow-through on tasks
  • Ability to maintain software and hardware inventory
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize/re-prioritize work
  • Ability to keep abreast of the latest developments in hardware and software technologies
  • Strong sense of self-motivation, analytical skills, organization and attention to detail
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills
  • Ability to interact with clients in a professional manner over the phone, in person, and in writing.
  • Ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced work environment and support on-site and remote end-users
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Coordinating and maintaining comprehensive physical asset management of technology equipment
  • Collaborating with HR and Purchasing partners to streamline Desktop Management policies and procedure
  • Supporting a remote user base in a multi-location, global environment
  • Driving consistent improvements to raise the quality and efficiency of desktop management service provided to all employees
  • Ensuring internal groups are fully coordinated through hardware and software deployment life cycles
  • Providing technical/personal mentorship and guidance to team members on a regular basis
  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects concurrently with ease, maintaining organizational standards across each project
  • Providing call support on a rotating schedule
  • Work on IT projects.
