About The Position

The Global Flight Analyst will be responsible for the overall planning/coordination of international flights for the various EU AOCs, while maintaining a high attention to detail, focus, and adaptability to our dynamic flight schedule. United States based role supporting our European operations. Oversee the full spectrum of trip planning, including route selection, aircraft suitability, fuel requirements, crew coordination, and contingency planning. Ensure that all flights are in full compliance with aviation regulations and industry standards. Assess potential operational risks and proactively resolve any issues that may arise during the planning phase of the operation. Collaborate with internal teams, to ensure smooth and timely execution of each flight, providing updates and managing expectations, as necessary. Report non-compliance observations for any potential safety, security, or quality issues. Make rapid decisions concerning safety, regulations, and economy of operations. Understand and interpret applicable regulations to ensure compliance. Communicate effectively and in a timely manner regarding all international flight details. Keep all relevant teams informed of any changes or disruptions affecting international flights. Provide exceptional customer service to internal customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or two to four years experience in aviation trip planning, with a focus on business aviation, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Understanding of CAA regulations, aviation permits, traffic rights, and operational requirements for Irish, Malta and UK-based fleets.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) skills with the ability to self-motivate, handle multiple tasks, meet established targets, and liaise effectively with clients, authorities, and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex flight itineraries and documentation.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently, particularly in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficient in aviation-specific flight planning software and tools as well as Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Ability and willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
  • This job requires regular communication and the ability to assess conditions visually and aurally.
  • Physical demands include prolonged sitting, typing, and use of office equipment, as well as occasional walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with global regulatory frameworks, international flight planning, and international aviation treaties and agreements, ideally gained within a Business Aviation environment is preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of aircraft operations and safety standards in different global regions.
  • Dispatch License is preferred.
  • Knowledge of FARs regarding Part 91, 135, or 121 airline operations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with core job competencies including, but not limited to, international operations, Customs/immigration requirements, airport access coordination (landing permissions, slots, PPRs, etc.), handling services, weather trends, and ATC flow is preferred.
  • Additional languages are a plus.
