About The Position

To provide excellent customer service while cash handling according to store guidelines. Maintaining High Standards of cleanliness throughout establishment.

Requirements

  • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
  • Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Must be able to complete tasks and projects in a timely manner by prioritizing obligations and time.
  • Must possess the ability to work with various personalities while maintaining impartiality.
  • Must respond to supervisory guidance and assignments and accept constructive criticisms in order to learn new, updated information.
  • The need for quickness and ease of adjustment to the work environment and flexibility to change are essential in this position.
  • Must have extremely good math and counting skills.
  • Must have a high school diploma, a GED or equivalent experience and prior cashiering experience is preferred.
  • Must obtain a LEVEL C license from EPA UST before being added to schedule.
  • Must become certified through Safe Food Handling to be updated yearly, all training will be provided through company.
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation and a drug and alcohol urinalysis as a condition of employment.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and to take on additional responsibilities when asked.
  • Must adhere to company policies regarding strict confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Handling cash, credit, debit, EBT, and check exchanges between guests and cashiers with precision and accuracy.
  • Providing extremely high-quality customer service.
  • Processing shift paperwork on time and accurately.
  • Cleaning inside and outside such as/not excluded to: sweeping, mopping, and dusting in order to provide a clean establishment for our customers and tribal membership.
  • Dispensing of fuel for disabled patrons.
  • Operation of the cash register and knowing the functions of each key.
  • Operation of the company safe and alarm system.
  • Stocking/Rotating products in the storeroom as well as the displayed merchandise within the public area of the store, dating the shelf life of products involving the use of a price gun.
  • Will be required to fill propane tanks as needed.
  • Willingness to cross-train and provide support in related areas of operations.
  • Other job duties as assigned by supervisor.
