Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of estimating experience
- A strong understanding of financial practices, accounting policies and computer related programs.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Sage, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar program preferred
Responsibilities
- Analyze drawings and specs to develop accurate bids
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for pricing
- Prepare quantity take-offs, bid breakdowns, and proposal documents
- Attend pre-bid walk-throughs and ensure bid coverage
- Review and qualify proposals, summarize scopes of work
- Finalize Bid Book and support hand-off to Project Managers
- Assist with contract reviews and ongoing project support
