About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Estimator to join our team in Irving, Texas. This office-based position plays a key role in supporting project bids through accurate quantity take-offs, labor analysis, and the preparation of comprehensive structural steel estimates.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the structural steel industry in a similar estimating role
- Strong understanding of steel fabrication and steel erection means and methods
- Solid construction industry experience

- Highly analytical with strong math and measurement skills
- Comfortable reading and interpreting structural drawings
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Responsibilities
- Perform computer-aided and hand take-off estimates for structural steel components
- Interpret and quantify steel materials, connections, and details
- Apply labor standards and prepare supporting documentation for complete estimates
