Requirements

Ideally 3-6 years of construction experience
Embrace and fully protect our Core Values – Integrity, Humility, Trust, Respect, Passion & Courage.
Experience with internet-based bidding sites is preferred (Building Connected, Gradebeam, SmartBid, etc)
Proficient with Microsoft (Outlook, Excel and Word) and BlueBeam
Effective communication and ability to work independently.
Must be able to multitask; handling many diverse projects at once while meeting deadlines.
Ability to remain in a stationary position 95% of the time
The ability to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as computer keyboards, copy machines, and computer printers
The ability to occasionally lift and carry lightweight office items like supplies or equipment
Valid driver’s license
High school Diploma, GED or equivalent experience is accepted

Nice To Haves

Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Exchange; Procore is a plus
Able to manage multiple projects/activities at once
A bachelor’s degree, preferably in construction management, engineering or a related field

Responsibilities

Process RFP, RFQ and internal pricing requests and facilitate broadcast announcements of bidding opportunities.
Analyze drawings and specifications.
Competently draft, proof, audit, and deliver proposals.
Solicit and engage subcontractors to provide proposals.
Qualify subcontractor proposals for completeness and compliance with project documents.
Ensure Builtech’s compliance with bidding regulations and goals for each project.
Maintain relationships with clients and subcontractors.
Work on multiple client bids simultaneously and deliver in accordance with deadline objectives.
Identify and execute strategic opportunities within a proposal to optimize Builtech’s position in securing work.
