About The Position

Round Rock Collision Center, a Penske Automotive Group affiliate, is looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team and deliver extraordinary customer experiences. As an Estimator, you will assess and appraise vehicle damage, estimate the costs of repairs or replacements, and communicate estimates and options with insurance companies, dealership personnel, and our valued customers.

Requirements

  • Genuine interest in providing an exceptional customer experience.
  • Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive "team-player" attitude.
  • Strong work-ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with strong mathematical and analytical skills relevant to calculating and reconciling customer estimates, and processing data for management analysis.
  • 1-3 years in the collision business, with manufacturer training and estimating systems experience (CCC, Rome, Reynolds, etc.), and outstanding insurance relations.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S or B.A) or equivalent; and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Damage Analysis and Estimating Certification for Collision Repair
  • Mechanical and Electrical Components Certification for Collision Repair
  • Non-Structural Analysis and Damage Repair Certification for Collision Repair
  • Painting and Refinishing Certification for Collision Repair
  • Structural Analysis and Damage Repair Certification for Collision Repair
  • I-CAR Certificate of Advanced Training

Responsibilities

  • Ensure our customers have a world-class experience at every step along their journey.
  • Provide an unparalleled level of technical knowledge and expertise to quickly and accurately assess the value of a vehicle and evaluating the best approach and costs for repairs and replacements.
  • Clearly and effectively communicate technical information to insurance and dealership personnel as well as a non-technical audience as required.
  • Comply with all manufacturer standards of quality for repairs, maintain and distribute accurate program reports as required to management, and understand and comply with all federal, state and local regulations that govern repair of vehicles for insurance companies.
