About The Position

Truckstar Collision Center is a leading heavy duty body shop in Deerfield, WI. We are looking for an trustworthy person to fill a key position to help build our business. PRIMARY DUTIES & TASKS As an Estimator you will be required to perform daily diverse tasks including but not limited to: Working with customers, vendors via phone and in person Off Site Estimates Working Daily with multiple computer programs An Estimator provides customer service and builds customer relationships. They are responsible for understanding the customers repair needs, providing accurate estimates, delivering a repaired vehicle that meets customer expectations and maintaining communication with the customer throughout the process. They must work directly with Production to communicate what each repair job consists of and when they must be completed. They also completes the final quality inspection before delivery to the customer. KEY ATTRIBUTES As an Estimator you must: Have a positive attitude Pay attention to detail Have the ability to multitask Be able to problem solve with customers QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma Wisconsin driver’s license Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), preferred but not required Minimum 1 year of work experience in a related field is preferred Experience in a customer service rep/sales capacity in the automotive industry is preferred Experience as a service writer or estimator in the automotive repair industry is preferred Collision repair industry is desirable Heavy-duty vehicle experience is desirable Knowledge and experience using various computer applications such as Windows operating system Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Truck Est or comparable vehicle estimating programs Profit Net or comparable shop management programs Ability to learn new computer applications easily Ability to organize and maintain paperwork and files Ability to multi-task and respond to requests in a timely manner Excellent phone communication skills General knowledge of office equipment (printer, computer, etc.) Physical Demands: Capable of lifting 30-50 lbs. Ability to stand, sit, walk, kneel, squat, bend and twist as needed to inspect vehicles for damage. Good vision and hearing Other General Skills: Ability to understand and follow instructions given in English Capable of reading and understanding estimates and other orders for repair Ability to do mathematical problems as needed for the job Ability to effectively communicate with fellow employees What else does Truckstar offer?
