Bradford Construction currently has an opportunity for an experienced Estimator to support a contract consisting of multiple ongoing projects with one of our public agency clients.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of construction estimating experience.
  • Bachelors' degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred; minimum of an Associates degree is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with public agencies is preferred.
  • Experience with Job Order Contracts or a similar construction delivery method is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a diverse range of technical, professional, and managerial staff—as well as designers, consultants, and contractors—to coordinate and develop comprehensive cost estimates.
  • Participate in joint scope meetings and assist project management.
  • Oversee the creation of quantity take-offs and cost evaluations based on join scope meeting and relevant documents.
  • Review and analyze cost estimates submitted by contractors, providing recommendations on their suitability for implementation.
  • Participate in cost-related negotiations to support project planning and budgeting efforts.
  • Perform additional related duties as required.
