Requirements

Strong foundation in Construction Estimating
Minimum of three years of experience
Excellent grasp of financial practices and accounting policies
Proficiency with computer-based programs that streamline the estimating process
Attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Ability to analyze drawings and specifications effectively
Ability to collaborate with vendors and subcontractors
Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with software such as Sage and On-Screen Takeoff, or similar programs

Responsibilities

Analyze drawings and specifications to develop accurate bids
Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to gather competitive pricing
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, bid breakdowns, and proposal documents
Attend pre-bid walk-throughs to ensure comprehensive bid coverage
Review proposals meticulously to qualify and summarize scopes of work
Finalize the Bid Book, providing essential support for a seamless hand-off to our Project Managers
Assist with contract reviews and deliver ongoing project support
