About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in gas processing and processing plant projects to support proposal and project execution efforts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on estimating experience using ACCE and/or Cleopatra software, a solid understanding of modular skidded units, and practical manufacturing experience gained on the shop floor. This role works closely with engineering, manufacturing, vendors, and clients to ensure accurate, compliant, and competitive estimates. Mon-Fri 8-5, Pay: $90k-130k

Requirements

  • Estimating experience within processing plants, preferably gas processing facilities
  • Experience with modular skidded units for gas processing plants
  • Proficiency with ACCE and/or Cleopatra estimating software
  • Manufacturing experience, including time spent working on or supporting shop floor operations
  • Strong understanding of oil and gas process equipment and fabrication practices
  • Ability to review and interpret RFQs, specifications, codes, and standards

Responsibilities

  • Review Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to identify applicable client requirements, codes, and standards
  • Develop and present accurate cost and schedule estimates for project compliance in the event of award
  • Ensure all estimates comply with the Quality Systems Manual
  • Identify sub-tier supplier requirements and incorporate them into quotations
  • Evaluate manufacturing capacity and provide input to improve delivery accuracy
  • Support client communications and negotiations during the quotation phase, particularly around specification compliance
  • Assist in establishing equipment compliance standards for client-unspecified GasTech products
  • Obtain vendor pricing for major equipment, components, and subcontracted services
  • Participate in project kick-off and manufacturing kick-off meetings
  • Coordinate with Product Engineering after award to incorporate non-standard or atypical client requirements
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for specification compliance questions during project execution
  • Prepare and maintain detailed estimating files and update the CRM system as required
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors in the oil and gas process equipment market
  • Maintain current vendor pricing and cost data
  • Transfer awarded project cost estimates from the estimating tool into the ERP system
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of staff
  • Manage moderate interaction with suppliers and customers; occasional travel may be required
